A.Red Rum won the Grand National 3 times: 1973, 1974 and 1977. He also came 2nd in 1975 and 1976. He is buried at the finishing line of the Aintree course.

A.The fences on the Grand National course range upwards from 2' 9" (water jump), but most are 4' 6" to 5'. The tallest fence is 'The Chair' at 5' 2".
