Q.what is quinoa ?
A.Quinoa is a cereal crop that comes from the Andes in South America, where it has been grown for over 6,000 years. It can be cooked like rice.
Q.Where does rice come from?
A.Rice is a seed. It grows in water on the end of long stalks of grass (similar to wheat). A 5th of calories consumed by humans comes from rice.
Q.How many types of rice are there?
A.Worldwide, there are more than 40,000 different varieties of rice, though only a small number offer the quality acceptable to be grown commercially.
