Q.When was the davy safety lamp invented
A.Sir Humphry Davy invented the Davy lamp in 1815. It was a safety lamp created for use in coal mines & also provided a crude test for the presence of gas.
Q.Why do animals have reflective eyes, but humans don't?
A.Many animals' eyes have tapetum lucidum, a layer of reflective tissue that aids night vision & appears to 'glow'. Human eyes do not have this layer.
Q.Do fog lights help you see better in fog or are they there to help other drivers see you?
A.Front fog lamps aid the driver by increasing illumination of the road surface, whilst rear fog lamps are used to aid other drivers.
