A. It's about embracing every single day, making affirmations every week and sticking to them, experiencing lots of different things, having fun, not wasting time.

Q. Do you miss being a children's TV presenter?

A. I don't miss it, it was a great place to start: I was only 21 and it was a very lucky break. I got to present all sorts of shows on BBC TV. I loved it, but you get older and grab other exciting opportunities.

Q. What's the weirdest thing a fan has sent you?

A. Someone once sent me a collage of photos of herself wearing different bikinis on different beaches. We hung it up in the production office.

Q. What's the most frequently requested song on your radio show?

A. I get loads of texts every day for different tunes. Right now, anything from The Saturday's "Issues" to Aerosmith's "Don't Want To Miss A Thing", and Usher's "Miss Independent" to James Morrison "Broken Strings".

Q. What, in your eyes, makes a record a classic?

A. It's got to be an anthem that makes you smile, sing and dance whenever you hear it. Doesn't matter how many times you hear it, you never get bored of it.

Q. Is there any record that you would NEVER play on air?

A. Obviously I'd steer clear of anything by Timmy Mallet and Mr Blobby: novelty rubbish won't get a look in.

Q. What was the first ever record you bought?

A. "It Must Be Love" by Madness.

Q. How do you spend your day when you are not on air?

A. At the moment, I'm heading off each day to the new Heart sites. I went to Birmingham last week to meet the team there, doing newspaper interviews and stuff. I also hit the gym 3 or 4 times a week, and love gong to the cinema.

Q. You're half Italian? What have you inherited from your Italian side?

A. I love pasta, I love Tuscany, and I'm definitely a romantic.

Q. You hate the idea of a credit card, does that mean you've never owned one?

A. I've never owned one and only have debit cards: It keeps me out of trouble. I had a serious debt after uni and I've tried not to have any debt since I cleared it.

Q. You enjoy a game of golf? Who would you love to play with?

A. Michael McIntyre. I haven't got a clue if he plays golf, but he's the funniest comedian I've ever seen!

Q. You appeared in "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here", what was the hardest part?

A. Just surviving! Surviving emotionally and physically in such an extraordinary environment, with a bunch of people you'd never normally hang out with. What you don't get a feeling for watching at home is how the boredom and heat and hunger all kick in and send you mad. I almost walked out one day but Myleene Klass convinced me that I shouldn't.

Q. Who would win in a fight between Jamie Theakston and Harriet Scott?

A. Jamie is about 4 feet taller than Harriet, so I'd have to say Jamie.
