The UK's leading text question and answer service AQA 63336 recently featured on the first show of the new Graham Norton series on BBC2, with Graham and guest Eddie Izzard texting that perennial poser – "are baboons evil?"

Viewer response to Graham Norton's show was instant and dramatic, resulting in high volumes of texts to AQA 63336, helping AQA 63336 pass a record 15 million questions since launch from over 2 million customers early on Monday morning.

Paul Cockerton, Communications Director, commented: "At AQA 63336 we're used to handling higher volume of texts during the evenings and at weekends as customers spend more time socialising. Our researchers and systems have been designed to handle large volumes of questions, and in the four years since launch we've experienced some extraordinary peaks to the service, thanks to mentions by celebrities including Stephen Fry, Chris Moyles and Jo Whiley. Graham's TV show encouraged thousands of people to try out AQA 63336, all at the same time. As always, our researchers were able to respond quickly with brilliant answers."

AQA 63336 is on hand 24 hours a day, with a 1,200–strong army of specialist researchers providing brilliant answers to the nation's questions, such as "What is the meaning of life?" and "Where can I buy a spanner on Oxford Street?". The fifteen millionth question, asked at 7.16am on Monday 6th October, was "After the 8:06 to Brighton from London Victoria, what time is the next train and what time does it arrive?" AQA 63336 texted back with "AQA: The next train after the 08.06 from London Victoria to Brighton departs at 08.20. It arrives in Brighton at 09.22. The next train after that is at 08.36."

AQA 63336 researchers need to pass a gruelling exam and application process to become qualified to answer the public's questions, and are tested on their grammar, spelling, speed and research skills. Having passed the test, researchers can work as often as they like from home, receiving 30p per answer, with top researchers answering over 7,000 questions in a month.
