12 November 2008
AQA 57275 (Any Question Answered) announced today that it has dropped the price of an answer to any question from €2 to €1.50, two years after launching Ireland's first premium text–based question and answer service.
Paul Cockerton, Communications Director said, "Whilst the price of many daily essentials has gone up in the last 2 years, we've decided to drop our price by 25% to make AQA 57275 more attractive to customers. You can now get a fast, high quality answer to any question by texting 57275 for €1.50 – equivalent to a single adult fare on the LUAS, one line on the Irish Lotto, and cheaper than a glass of Guinness."
Initially launched in the UK in April 2004, AQA 57275 was launched in Ireland during June 2006. To date over 15 million questions have been asked from over 2 million UK and Irish customers. All answers are provided by a team of over 1,200 home–based researchers based mostly in UK and Ireland.
Cockerton continues, "We've seen from Irish questions that there's a great thirst for knowledge, a passion for GAA led sports, and pride in Irish culture. We've had to answer questions ranging from 'how many apples would it take to give everyone in Cork a slice of apple pie', to astonishment at 'why would the English prefer to drink warm beer than cold Guinness'. We're also looking for more Ireland–based researchers to help us answer these questions."
Interested applicants for researcher positions should visit www.aqa.57275.ie for more details. Researchers work from the comfort of their own home, with hours to suit, and are paid 39c per answer. Top researchers can answer over 7,000 questions per month.
